Environment Art
As part of the Environment Art team on Marvel: Realm of Champions I was responsible for creating game ready 3D assets for the environments of the game. These included props for the levels, texture and material creation, house banner creation as well as setting up entire arenas for the game. Highlighted here are some of the 3D assets that I built which were used as background props in the levels as well as 2.5D renders for the game map. These assets were rendered in multiple maps for the PBR pipeline like Diffuse, AO, Metallic, Roughness, Normal, Shadow, Emission, etc. and composited in game so that they are affected by the in game lighting.
Apart from working on the environment assets, I was also responsible for managing the external outsourcing team who were supplying environment props on this project. I was responsible for setting up the workflow and files for the contractors, doing review passes on their submissions and implementing the assets into the game. We use Blender, Maya, Substance Painter and Unity 3D for the creation of these assets
